Det Økologiske Spisemærke
Nachbar means in all its simplicity: Neighbor.
And it is at Nachbar that one meets, to see one’s neighbors, friends, and future friends in the neighborhood. Hang out or pick up one’s good coffee, delicious bread and cozy pastries.
Nachbar work a lot with their suppliers to create the best results for all parties. The primary thing is of course the taste, however just as important is that all our products fit into their sustainability profile and support our values and visions.
Nachbar buys locally produced goods and makes active choices about all our products in the composition of our menu. When you visit Nachbar, you will therefore always experience a very high quality in everything we do.
Engholmene
Engholmene is a wonderful environment where homes and urban spaces have the full benefit of all the water's properties. The area represents state-of-the-art in port development in the big city, where the goal is to create life in maritime environments. Every direction in in which one looks, there is a clear view of water, and the soothing sound of rippling waves can be enjoyed all the way into the living rooms.
As part of a brand-new residential area, Nachbar has the advantage that it can set high and realistic goals right from the start, as the place is helped along the way by modern energy efficient construction.
Since the start in July 2021, Nachbar has worked profoundly with Ecology and already has the organic food label in silver.
Copenhagen, Denmark's capital has been selected as the world's best city to visit, and the city's ambitious green profile has a clear goal: The City of Copenhagen is aiming to become the world's first CO2-neutral capital in 2025.
In Copenhagen there is a short road to both water and green areas. It is a green and bicycle friendly city that can be explored on the many new electric city bikes. You can stay in an eco-certified hotel, where as many as 75% of the city's hotel rooms are ecolabelled with either the Swan or Green Key, you can swim in the clean water in the city's water baths or consume organic food from Michelin restaurants to street food markets.
Wonderful Copenhagen has a sustainability strategy for tourism and is the first in the world to be labeled with the eco-label Green Tourism Organization.
