Stay and sleep like in the 1950s.

At Wittrup Motel you will experience Denmark’s oldest, existing motel where you drive your car to the entrance of your room.

The location sums up America in the 1950s. Several of the rooms are inspired by the motel's original design when American Sallie Zimmerhackel and Danish Oscar Wittrup built the motel in 1955.

The menu in Sallie’s Restaurant & Snack Bar, are also inspired by the 1950s. You can get milkshakes and Sallie’s Original Cheese Burger. Denmark’s first cheeseburger was served here.

Besides hygge and history, there are modern facilities with TV and wireless internet. Stay overnight like at an ordinary hotel regardless of whether you are a tourist or on a business trip.

The motel is great for weekends, mini-golf, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and fairs. Many business people and craftsmen stay at Wittrup Motel. Book your stay when you attend events in Copenhagen or at a sought-after concert at Sallie's.
